softwood floors, in better condition than we thought. [the other half of the room is MUCH less promising; just you wait]. two hours of wet scraping later, the fir glistened like only 88-year-old wood can.
It's definitely getting there! I know you want to do a ton more to it, but what you've done so far is nothing less than incredible. :) I can't wait to see it!

Dammit you two! We've owned our house for 5 years and there's still crappy carpet in the bedroom.
